Vegetable Soup

1o 1/2oz.can cream of chicken soup
10 oz.can chicken noodle soup
10 oz.pkg.frozen mixed vegetables
cooked & drained
1 1/2 soup cans of water
1 1/2c. diced cooked ham
1/2c. sliced onion
1/4T. butter
1c. diced cooked potatoes

In saucepan brown ham,onions and sage in butter til tender.
Blend in cream of chicken soup.
Add chicken noodle soup,water,mixed vegetables and potatoes.
Mix well and cook over low heat til heated stirring often.
4-6 servings.

Chocolate Drop Cookies

1c.brown sugar
1/2c.shortening-melted
1 egg-beaten
2t.cocoa
1 1/2c.flour
1/2c.nuts-opptional

1/2c.sour milk + 1/2c.b.soda

Melt shortening-let cool.
Add brown sugar-cream together.
Add egg,cocoa-beat together.
Add milk-mix till smooth.
Add flour and nuts.
Mix until well blended.

Bake at 359* 10-12 minutes.
2 dozen.

Soft Molasses Cookies

2/3c.shortening 2 1/2c.flour
1/2c.sugar 1t.b.soda
1 egg-unbeaten 1t.cinnamon
1/2c.molasses 1t.ginger
1/2c.sour milk 1t.salt
1/2c.raisins

Mix together.
Bake at 350* for 12 minutes.
2 dozen.

Homemade Noodles With Chicken.

8-10 eggs
flour
chicken

beat eggs,then add flour to the egg mixture.
mix together well.
put some flour on the table, and roll the egg-flour mixture out.
let dry for 1 hour.
then roll up, cut with knife about an inch apart, then shake out.
bring the chicken to a boil, then add noodles.
stir noodles to keep from burning.
cook till done.
